DO YOU THINK PHILIP ROTH WILL LIKE STUFFED CABBAGE FOR DINNER?

While I’m waiting for Phillip Roth to RSVP to my dinner invitation, I received notice that I’m in the running for a high-end Jewish literary prize. I had submitted 3 copies of The Provider, and they just asked for 4 more copies. Elie Weisel (Nobel Prize recipient for his Holocaust memoir Night of 33 pages, and many more books on this subject) is on the panel. So I decided to read this memoir which is about his own experience in three concentration camps. I want to sense whether or not his heart will  respond well to The Provider. I’m still reading this memoir which is gripping me by the throat. I am amazed at the reaction of an inmate who saw new inmates arriving and started beating them with a stick and hollering at them. He was angry that other Jews let this happen!!!
